These Signal Allocation Terms (Terms) govern your participation in Signal Allocation offered by Clinical Signal (we, us, our) through clinicalsignal.com.au. By joining the founding waitlist, reserving an allocation, or maintaining an active Signal Allocation, you agree to these Terms together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy.
Signal Allocation is a fresh-batch allocation program — not a generic “subscribe and save” offer. These Terms explain how reserved batch production, billing, pauses, founding rates, and Signal Advocate status work.
Signal Allocation Terms
1. Definitions
- Signal 30 — our fresh-batched 30-day skin longevity serum (cosmetic skincare).
- Signal Allocation — a reserved place in a monthly fresh-batch production run, billed on a recurring basis while active.
- Allocated member — a customer with an active Signal Allocation.
- Batch — a numbered monthly production run (e.g. Batch 001).
- Batch release window — the period before each batch is finalised for production, during which you may pause, skip, or cancel the next allocation.
- Founding cohort — customers who convert from the Batch 001 founding waitlist within the founding window (limited allocations, currently capped in line with production capacity).
- Signal Advocate — a founding cohort member who qualifies and maintains community activity requirements and receives the Advocate founding allocation rate (Section 6).
- All-in fee — one monthly charge that includes your 30-day Signal 30 supply and standard delivery within Australia unless stated otherwise at checkout.
2. Signal Allocation — what it is
Signal Allocation matches each month’s fresh batch to members who will use it within the intended 30-day ritual window. We produce to allocated demand rather than holding long-term warehouse inventory.
Your allocation includes, while active:
- a reserved slot in the next applicable batch production run;
- one 30-day Signal 30 supply per allocation cycle, batch-numbered where applicable;
- Batch Release communications (production / dispatch updates);
- access to member communications such as Signal Notes early access and the 30-Day Ritual Guide, where offered.
Recurring billing is used to operate the allocation system. Customer-facing language uses allocation, not subscription discounting.
3. Cosmetic product — not therapeutic
Signal 30 is cosmetic skincare. It is intended to support the appearance of hydrated, smoother-looking, more refined-looking skin. It is not a therapeutic good and does not treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Use as directed on the label. Use SPF during the day as part of your routine.
4. Founding waitlist and Batch 001
During pre-launch, the founding waitlist registers interest only. No charge applies until you accept a formal allocation offer and complete checkout for Batch 001 (or a later batch if offered).
Founding allocations are limited to real production capacity. We may close the founding window when Batch 001 reaches capacity.
Indicative founding pricing may be communicated before launch (e.g. from $129/month all-in). Final founding allocation rates are confirmed in your allocation offer at least 30 days before your first paid shipment unless a shorter period is required by operational necessity and permitted by law.
5. Standard and founding allocation rates
Standard Signal Allocation (non-founding members): $189 AUD per month, all-in, unless otherwise stated at checkout.
Founding cohort — Track A (standard founding), unless you qualify and maintain Signal Advocate status (Section 6):
- Month 1: $129 AUD all-in
- Months 2–12 (while allocated and in founding period): $159 AUD all-in
- Month 13 onward (while allocated): $189 AUD all-in (standard rate)
Founding rates apply only to eligible founding cohort members who remain allocated. If you cancel and later rejoin, founding rates and Advocate status are not automatically restored unless we expressly agree in writing.
6. Signal Advocate program
Founding cohort members may qualify for Signal Advocate status and maintain the founding allocation rate of $129 AUD per month, all-in while allocated and active, instead of Track A step-up pricing — subject to these Terms.
6.1 Qualification (one-time)
All required:
- active founding cohort Signal Allocation;
- three (3) consecutive allocated months, with no more than one (1) pause in that qualification window;
- one (1) approved Signal post — public post tagging @clinicalsignal and #Signal30, appearance-focused only, manually approved by us.
6.2 Maintenance (ongoing)
To keep Advocate status and the Advocate founding rate:
- remain actively allocated (not paused or cancelled);
- submit at least one (1) approved Signal post per calendar quarter (same tagging and approval rules);
- comply with the UGC and content rules in Section 10.
If you miss a quarterly requirement, we will notify you. You have a 30-day grace period to submit an approved post. If the requirement is not met, Advocate status ends and Track A founding pricing applies (Section 5) based on your allocation month count.
6.3 Advocate rate — not a frozen dollar price
The Signal Advocate $129/month founding allocation rate is maintained relative to standard pricing while you qualify. It is not a guarantee of a fixed price in absolute dollar terms for all time.
We may apply periodic price adjustments (for example, annually) to reflect inflation, ingredient, packaging, freight, or other operating cost changes. We will give Advocate and affected allocated members at least sixty (60) days’ written notice before an adjustment takes effect. Adjustments will apply no more than once per twelve (12) months, except where required by extraordinary and documented cost events outside our reasonable control.
When standard Signal Allocation pricing changes, Advocate members remain on the founding Advocate rate band relative to standard pricing as communicated at the time of adjustment.
6.4 Forfeiture
Signal Advocate status is forfeited permanently if you cancel Signal Allocation. Rejoining after cancellation is at standard public pricing ($189/month all-in) unless we agree otherwise in writing.
7. Billing and payment
- Fees are charged in Australian dollars (AUD).
- Each allocation cycle covers one 30-day Signal 30 supply and standard domestic delivery unless stated otherwise.
- You authorise recurring charges to your chosen payment method for each batch allocation cycle until you pause or cancel in accordance with these Terms.
- Failed payments may result in suspension of your allocation until resolved. Repeated failure may result in cancellation of your slot.
8. Batch release, pause, and skip
Before each batch release window closes, you may pause or skip the next allocation. Pausing means we do not produce or ship a unit for you that cycle and your batch slot is released for planning.
- Maximum two (2) pauses per twelve (12) months unless we approve otherwise.
- Pausing pauses your founding rate clock (months 2–12 founding period and related timing).
- Requests must be made through the account / allocation management method we provide before the stated cut-off for that batch.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel before the next batch release window. Cancellation stops future charges and releases your future batch slot.
On cancellation:
- founding allocation rates and Signal Advocate status are forfeited;
- rejoining is subject to availability and current pricing;
- orders already in production or dispatched are subject to our Refund Policy.
10. Community posts and user-generated content (UGC)
Signal posts for Advocate qualification must:
- tag @clinicalsignal and #Signal30;
- relate to cosmetic skincare and your Signal 30 ritual;
- use appearance-only language (no medical, therapeutic, or injectable claims);
- be approved by us before counting toward qualification or maintenance.
By submitting content, you grant Clinical Signal a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, adapt for format, and use on our website, email, and social channels with credit where practicable. You confirm you own or have rights to the content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
We may reject or remove approval for content that is off-brand, misleading, claim-heavy, or inconsistent with Australian cosmetic advertising requirements.
Maximum three (3) submissions per quarter count toward review; only one approved post per quarter is required to maintain Advocate status.
11. Loyalty tiers
Separate from Advocate pricing, we may offer recognition tiers (e.g. Signal Regular, Batch Signal) based on allocation tenure. Tier perks (priority dispatch, limited-batch access, etc.) are described on our website and may change with notice. Tier perks do not override these Terms or your statutory rights.
12. Shipping and delivery
Standard domestic delivery within Australia is included in the all-in allocation fee unless otherwise stated at checkout. Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes in accordance with our Shipping & Returns policy and applicable law.
13. Capacity and allocation priority
If a batch nears capacity, allocated members generally receive priority over new customers. Tier benefits may affect dispatch order within a batch where stated. We do not guarantee availability of future batches or future Signal products.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or program changes. Material changes will be notified by email or website notice. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where prohibited by the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from Signal Allocation or Signal 30 is limited to resupply of the product or refund of the fee for the affected allocation cycle. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
